Short Stories Written by Kid

This blog is a collection of short stories written by my child. After my child wrote her stories, I will put them up in this blog. There will be some grammar and sentence structure errors. I will try not to correct them as much as I can. This blog is to encourage her to write and grow in her creativity and language.

Poem - Three Little Pastas

Three little pastas sitting on my hand,
One pasta dropped out and then there were two.
Two little pastas sitting on my hand,
One dropped out and then one was left.
Three little pastas sitting on my hand,
Now together happy again !

(This little poem was inspired by the pastas brought from Italy by Aunty Stephanie)

Poem - Clowns

Clowns are big
Clowns are small
Some are tall and some are short
Some are smart but some are silly
And that's what clowns are made to be !

Short Story - Why do snails have shells?

Why do snails have shells?

One day, there was a big storm in the forest and the animals had no place to live. All the homes in the forest had been destroyed by the storm. Many weeks later, the snail found a shell. So she decided that the shell would be her home. So she went into the shell. She found it so nice that she fell asleep in it. A day after she had found the shell, many animals came to her to ask if they could stay with the snail. There were so many animals, the ant, grasshopper, spider and the bee. Then she went to a place with lots of flowers. She was happy there. So she stayed there and was happy with her shell too.
